two posts today

i dunno, but today I feel like posting two times. sorry~

but on the topic of "usefulness..." have you ever been used by a friend, but then you weren't really treated as a friend at all by that person? Like, someone who you think is your friend and this friend tells you to do things only benefiting him/herself but it has no good for you?

I would hate to have friends like that, let alone 'a' friend. Who would want friends like that? Prob unless you have no friends? lol? I once had a friend like that. i treated this person as a good friend, and I always thought this person was my friend. but how was I treated lah?... i'll stop it right there. Getting a bit personal now~

I'm getting to too much of my feminine side as lina would put it. lol.

are you useful?

my new fresh produce manager complimented me today. ive worked with him for a few weekends now. and today he told me that he's actually glad to have me on board with him. And he said that he finds me useful! woohoo...

So what does this mean? It means that if the store manager want to cut casual worker's hours down I'll have my produce manager protecting my hours. Well, I wouldn't blame the store manager for wanting to cut down my hours since I cost twice as much as a 16 year old working. But then again, I do a much better job then what an average teenager can do.

'me' time

I need 'me' time sometimes. Weekends are hectic. don't get rests. Waking up at 6:30am for work on weekends are a killer after waking up the same time the previous day for uni and having to wake up that early on Monday as well.

The only day I get 'me' time is Tuesdays and Thursdays. On those days I like to do nothing. Just sit in front of the computer, surfing the web, procrastinating and thinking about how cool it is that I don't have to go to uni.

But the week passes by really quickly, and then its the weekend again. *sigh*

Then the cycle begins all over again...

pureprofile - global study

lol... guess what, remember I said that I was doing this survey on pureprofile and it was taking ages? I think someone complained to pureprofile and guess what?

They sent me an apology email saying how it was the first time they ran such a long survey. And they are paying me and extra $7 bucks for compensation. LOL. they are paying me $25 altogether for a survey which i didn't really do it properly. Well, i tried, but I lost concentration and it was wasting too much of my time and effort. but if they are paying me an extra 7 bucks, I'll take it. :)

Pureprofile has been really good to me. I just did another survey for $12 and it wansn't long to do! This time, I actually did it properly (for most of the time).

Dr. Dalton James Eric Harvie

I dunno what is so special about Dr. Dalton James Eric Harvie. Yes he is smart, yes he is young and yes he has a cool name (Dalton). He also teaches one of the ugliest 2nd year subjects in chemical engineering.

I have this friend who treats him like an idol, admires him and is a total fan of Dr. Harvey. The moment Dr. Harvey comes in, this friend of mine gets all keyed up and her eyesight follows his movement down to the front of the lecture theater. My friend always chooses to sit right at the front. Who knows why she would do that?

I hope my friend won't fail this subject. I have a feeling though, she pays more attention to Dr. Harvey than the material that she's supposed to be absorbing. But then again, I don't think she minds because if she repeats the subject, she'll see Dr. Harvey for another semester... again!

I'm going to Singapore, Hong Kong and quite possibly to Japan during late Jan to mid Feb of '10. Stuff summer school! whoo, should be good since I haven't been overseas in ages! Gonna have a massive shopping spree, buy what ever I see its nice and not worrying about the price. Cos I do have quite a bit saved up for random spending!

I'm doing an $18 survey on pureprofile. whoo! I hope I can finish it. But atm, I'm just randomly selecting the boxes cos its taking too much time and effort! and waiting for 5 mintues on each page before i move on so it wouldn't be so suss that I'm not doing it properly.

how should i start?

maybe I'll start of by saying "Hi!" There's nothing much to say. Just at home atm, on my day off from uni. Procrastinating as usual. Started on this blog and about to go and watch some kelly clarkson clips. You know, I downloaded a 500mb size clip which only lasts for 3 minutes and 42 seconds. Whoo, Kelly Clarkson looks so hot even though she has gained a bit of weight. But then again, in my opinion, any Kelly Clarkson clips are great!
